CPI Solutions came to to life in September 1984 with a total of 3 employees (then Computer Products, Inc.). Since then, the company has grown to more than 55 employees, with a management team that represents some of the most experienced and dedicated technology professionals in the region.

Arnie Friedman
President & CEO
Arnie Friedman brings over 38 years of management experience in the technology industry to his role as President and CEO of CPI Solutions. Arnie’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology has been leading CPI’s growth since it was founded in 1984 as Computer Products, Inc.
Prior to the acquisition of CPI Solutions in April of 1990, Arnie spent 5 years as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CMC – a leading design technology company in the Ethernet and TCP-IP segment of the networking industry. Preceding his position with CMC, Arnie was Vice President of Sales for United Technologies Communications. Post deregulation, UTCC manufactured and marketed advanced voice and data PBX’s for midsize businesses; Arnie guided the organization to becoming an industry-leader within a very competitive field.
In 1976, Arnie began his career as an Account Executive for Xerox in Toronto, Canada. Based on his new business development success, he was recognized as a President’s Club member each year.

Sherri Friedman
CFO
Sherri Friedman is the CFO of CPI Solutions. Before the acquisition of the company in 1990, Sherri had more than 10 years of finance management experience in the technology industry. Prior to assuming her position as Chief Financial Officer, Sherri spent 10 years as a real estate agent, where she successfully conducted several significant transactions in the millions of dollars.
Sherri began her successful career in financial management as a legal secretary in Toronto, Canada in 1976.

Tony Laiewski
Vice President of Sales / Partner
As the Vice President of Sales for CPI Solutions, Tony Laiewski has more than 15 years of experience as a successful sales team leader. At the beginning of his career, Tony began building his first sales team in the field of technical recruitment. That initial exposure to companies like Microsoft, Cisco and Citrix, later led him to pursue a consulting opportunity with CPI Solutions (then Computer Products, Inc.).
Tony continues to steadily master his craft, and he consistently applies the same principles to educate, maintain and strengthen his sales organization. His expertise is grounded in constant listening, study and practice. As an integral member of CPI’s senior management team, he assists in the development of financial, strategic and tactical goals for the company business plan, while also assisting to achieve those objectives. Tony is very active in the community by volunteering with the YMCA, coaching and refereeing AYSO Soccer. He is also a member of Toast Masters and a variety of local networking groups.

Scott O’Malley
Vice President / Partner
Scott O’Malley has nearly two decades of executive leadership and management experience in both start-ups and IT consulting organizations. Prior to Scott joining CPI Solutions in 2005, he managed eDistrict – a Web development firm that he started in 1997 and ran for over 8 years. At eDistrict, Scott was responsible for strategy, business development and the approach that drove the successful 15-person team. While there, he helped deliver over 250 successful projects, including custom e-commerce applications, payroll and HR management software, dynamic social e-communities, as well as credit reporting and management solutions.
Scott brings his deep business, marketing and custom development experience to CPI Solutions. From sales team support to development operations and quality assurance, Scott has the unique ability to bridge his clients’ needs with solutions that meet and exceed expectations. Beyond his passion for business technology and application development, Scott is active in the community, enjoys spending time with his family and golfing when time allows.

Chris Brahmer
Vice President of Application Development
Chris Brahmer has been developing software for over 20 years for start-ups, small businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations. As the Vice President of Application Development, Chris is an integral part of CPI Solutions. For the past 16 years, Chris has focused his experience on Web software development, specifically major business automation systems that provide a significant competitive advantage through streamlining an organization’s workflow and providing key integrations to third party systems and databases. Chris also has a strong Business Intelligence background and has provided companies with access to critical information.
Chris currently manages Application Development Operations at CPI and leverages his experience to guide and mentor the team. When he’s not at the office, you can find him training MMA at the gym and spending time with his wife and 3 children.

Braden Daniels
Vice President of Managed Services
Braden Daniels has over 16 years of experience in the IT industry and currently oversees the Managed IT Services group at CPI. Since his honorable discharge from the Marine Corps in 1996, Braden has been involved in both IT management and hands-on engineering roles within CPI Solutions for over 10 years.
Braden has held positions as both Manager and Director of Information Technology and has a strong background with Cisco, Citrix and Microsoft Technologies. Braden has also acted as an Adjunct Professor at Mount Sierra College providing instruction on several technical topics.

Marty Sarkisian
Vice President of Technology Consulting
Marty Sarkisian brings more than 15 years of industry experience to his current position as Vice President of Technology Consulting, and has been involved with both the technical and the sales side within CPI. Marty is one of less than 2,000 Cisco Voice CCIE’s worldwide.
Marty graduated from UCSD with a BA in Economics and went on to receive his MBA from California Lutheran University. He is also a trustee of the Literacy Mission Center; the LMC is a Christian organization dedicated to teaching literacy in remote villages in southern India. In 2011, Marty and his wife led a team of Americans to set up several medical camps in villages where the LMC has presence.
