Overview
Together DRC Services Group and CPI Solutions implemented technology that would allow the office to operate almost entirely paperless. This strategy allows them to achieve numerous efficiencies in the way they access, manage, and store data. A now paperless DRC was forced to face a new reality that plagues every paperless office; How to deal with the storage and protection of data that is growing at an exponential rate?

Challenges

3.	Reduce backup times while at the same time increase network performance

Solutions

1.	NetApp solution enables consolidate storage of several servers into one highly scalable device and designed to scale to several terabytes.
2.	Centralizing storage, DRC was also able take advantage of server virtualization to increase redundancy and performance
3.	NetApp solution Snapshot technology allows data to be imaged at several points throughout the day. The images can then be written off to temporary disk space and backed up to tape much faster with no impact to users.

1.	Scalable storage solution by simply adding disk
2.	Higher level of redundancy and network performance with server virtualization
3.	Build in disaster recovery capabilities with Snapshot technology and data imaging.
