CPI becomes a Cisco Silver Partner while launching a new IP Communications DivisionLos Angeles, CA, October 18 , 2004 - CPI Solutions, a leading network and telephony services, integration and consulting company, announced today that it has formed a new division, CPI Communications, and, additionally, that Cisco Systems, the world’s largest Internet infrastructure company, has awarded it with the coveted Silver Partner status. CPI Communications has been formed to focus exclusively on providing CPI’s clients with market-leading Cisco IP communications, or VoIP, solutions, both in-house and hosted. CPI Communications will be led by Glenn Russell, who comes to CPI from Pacific Softworks, a provider of TCP/IP for the embedded systems marketplace, a company he founded, took public in 1999 and sold in 2001. Said Russell, “We see IP telephony as the next great IP opportunity, and CPI is ideally positioned to take advantage of a market worth $2 billion in 2002 and expected to grow to $29 billion by 2006.” Additionally, CPI is pleased to announce that it has been elevated to Silver Partner status by Cisco. CPI joins the select few independent Cisco partners in southern California that have been so designated. Typically, to achieve this status a company must have gained expertise in two specializations, in CPI’s case IP communications and security, and have met a measurable level of customer satisfaction. CPI Solutions, based in Camarillo, is a leading provider of network and telephony solutions. The company partners with Cisco, Microsoft and Citrix. CPI also supplies certified network engineers to companies on an outsourcing basis. |
