CPI Solutions Named 18th Fastest-growing Tech Firm in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA, October 10, 2006 - CPI Solutions, a network and telephony consulting and engineering firm based in Camarillo, has been named to Deloitte’s prestigious Technology Fast 50 Program for Los Angeles, a ranking of the 50 fastest-growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation’s leading professional services firms.

Called the "Los Angeles Technology Fast 50," the annual award program ranks technology companies in Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara and Ventura counties by revenue growth over five years (2001-2005).

This year’s Los Angeles Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Porsche Motorsport, Continental Airlines, Comerica, Marsh, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, Cresa Partners and Merrill Corporation, in association with the Technology Council of Southern California.

CPI’s increase in revenues of 154 percent over five years resulted in a ranking of 18th in the Fast 50 for 2006.

CPI President and CEO Arnie Friedman said, “It’s an honor to be recognized by Deloitte, but our success is directly attributable to the team we have assembled at CPI that emphasizes customer service. Our passion to ‘under-commit and over-deliver’ is the engine that drives our growth.”

“To rank on the Deloitte Technology Fast 50, companies must have strong revenue growth over five years,” said Anthony J. Buzzelli, Vice Chairman, National Managing Partner, US Regions, Deloitte & Touche LLP. “CPI Solutions has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in Los Angeles, and we applaud their dedication to making their vision a reality.”

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2001 and $5,000,000 in 2005, be headquartered in North America, be a company that owns proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology or intellectual property in a unique way does not qualify.

CPI Solutions, based in Camarillo and serving all of southern California, provides network, application development and telephony solutions. The company partners with Cisco, Microsoft, Citrix and NetApp. CPI also supplies certified network engineers to companies on an outsourcing basis.
