1984
Founding
CPI Solutions was founded as a personal computer retailer
1990
Friedman Acquisition
With only one employee, Arnie and Sherri Friedman acquired CPI; becoming a Novell Gold Authorized Dealer.
2003
Employee Growth
After refocusing the business structure, CPI grew to 20 employees and hit $5 million in revenue.
2004
VoIP Leader
CPI closed a deal with Cisco, setting them apart as a leader in VoIP technology.
2005
New Location
CPI opened a second location in Camarillo and opened their data center in Los Angeles.
2012
Expansion
CPI shifts strategy and focus from VAR to managed services provider (MSP).
2014
New Initiative
CPI launches SmileBack (previously New.to) as their customer satisfaction initiative.
2016
Re-branding & Growth
With a redesign of their logo, CPI expands to San Diego and grows to over 50 employees.
